Sound archive

The sound archive of the Institute of Musicology holds over 10.000 various media. Its focus lies in opera, but recordings of all genres and styles of classical music can be found. Since establishing the professorship for cultural anthropology of music, the inventory in this area is constantly being expanded. The sound archive is located at Mittelstrasse 43, room 048, and provides access to two sound systems.

The digital catalogue of the sound archive is accessible through the University's network or VPN / webVPN.
